Stay Calm and Save Hyrule

After the failure that is The Nintendo Walkthrough Blog, I have decided to make it you to you and create a Zelda Blog, solely dedicated to my love of Zelda. I'll put a link up soon. Zelda deserves some love.

This review split peoples views down the middle down the moddle at Zelda Dungeon, but its still a reasonable review on the game I'm currently playing.

GAA season back up and running

I'm back at training now down at my local pitch for the new GAA season. I usually play half forward (for those of you who don't have a clue what I'm talking about, go to this link.), but also can play in goals. I play for Moynalty GFC, a small club in Meath, but nonetheless has a strong community and is a very active club. I hope to keep you posted on important matches through out the year.

Facebook!

WAAHOOO! Finally got onto Facebook and I hope to get a little gadget showing everyone what I'm thinking.

The Gallagher Household General Election

Well, my imagination has come up trumps again. I've been thinking for a while, a way to make chores fun, or a way to play the Wii without feeling guilty. This is the plan. And you should try it. You all know that there is a General Election coming up in Ireland in the next few weeks, so I used that to make this idea. Form a few party's in your house with their own leaders, ideas (such as doing a chore in exchange for playing the Wii), promises, posters around the house, Twitter accounts, Facebook accounts, websites. Also hold debates discussing the party's ideas. This will help get the adults and children to meet halfway, because the party that you vote in makes the rules. It's just started in my house and its great. Check out the links and I'll also keep you up to date on what's happaning.

Internet Shopping

Well, my first experience of internet shopping didn't work out that well (a order from Eason's that took a month to get to me), but I'm going to give Internet another shot. I'll review each site as I use it. First up, Amazon.com!

The Lazy Life of a Guitarist

Another one of my guitar. O, this is exciting. Music is beautiful. It paints a million pictures. It effects your emotions. It moves you. And then there's the feeling when you put three good chords together. Guitar been great so far. It's even helped me put together CJF's next song. Here's a list of what I'm playing.

  • Hey Soul Sister (Train)
  • If It's Love (Train)
  • Wonderwall (Oasis)
  • Electric Beat (CJF)

Battle of the Search Engines

You've seen the browsers, now the search engines are put to the test.

Google
Everybody loves Google. And for good reason. Its the fastest, easiest and most efficient search engine. Excellent choice of site to use with your Google Account such as Gmail, Blogger and Youtube. Unrivaled brilliance.
Score 10!

Yahoo!
A very strong effort from Yahoo with lots of sites available to use with your Yahoo Account including the excellent Flickr. So close but yet so far away.
Score 9.5
Bing
Slightly to simple for me but again nice effort. Does the job right.
Score 8.1
Ask Jeeves
More of a one for asking question, and not enough content. Flop
Score 6.5
