Social Networking is becoming more and more a part of our lives. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Myspace, Digg, LinkedIn, StumbleUpon, Google Buzz, Yahoo Buzz. The List could go on and on. The majority of the worlds teens are on Facebook, easily the most popular social network on the planet. Examples that the world are quickly turning to these kind of websites include candidates of the Irish General Election. On many of the election posters the familiar white "f" on a blue background was visible, as well as Twitter and LinkedIn logos. This showed me that the world is slowly turning towards social networking as a major way of getting your name out there. Then there's leaflets advertising Chinese take-aways. They also are on Facebook. Ads in the nation papers. Its not a surprise to see lots of Twitter or Facebook. And then I think this. There a growing number of unnecessary companies/organisation on social networks. Will people turn away from social networking if they become polluted with trash like this. I certain would. This may not be a pressing matter now, but in time this could kill social networking
